The Ray Wing Foil has been designed to make learning to wing foil easier, smoother and more enjoyable. Combining excellent low-speed lift with impressive stability, this foil provides the confidence new riders need while still offering the performance required as their skills progress.
At the heart of the Ray foil is a large carbon front wing designed to generate efficient lift at lower speeds, helping riders get onto the foil earlier and maintain controlled flight with less effort. The inverted gull wing shape provides excellent stability while allowing smooth, predictable turns and carving performance as riders become more confident.
The foil’s carefully shaped wingtips help create a smoother riding experience, reducing the risk of unwanted contact while providing a forgiving feel for beginners learning foil control. At lower speeds, the Ray delivers plenty of lift and forgiveness, while at higher speeds it remains composed and stable.
Built around a strong aluminium mast and fuselage connection, the Ray foil provides excellent stiffness and durability. The carbon front and rear wings keep weight down while maintaining responsive performance and efficient glide.

From the moment I ordered, the service was outstanding. The board was dispatched within 10 minutes of placing my order and arrived the next day. For a small family business that’s genuinely impressive and sets the tone for everything that followed.
The board itself is superb. Built with triple layer welded rail construction and inflated to 17.5 PSI, it feels rock solid and planted underfoot. At 6’2” and 75kg the 34” width gives me a brilliant stable platform and I was standing and paddling confidently within five minutes of my very first session.
In just over a week I’ve completed four sessions at Bewl Water in conditions ranging from flat calm to 20mph winds with 30mph gusts and white caps. The board handled everything I threw at it without question. It feels sturdy, tracks well, and inspires real confidence on the water.

Great price of kit, not used in the sea yet but a few times on rivers, very stable and glides effortless through the water, wife is very nervous but after a few minutes she relaxed and off we went down the river for a few miles.

I’m a big guy with balance issues, so I tried a lot of boards from different hire companies, finally had a long chat with the people a Sandbanks even though I explained I couldn’t afford to buy yet, they took the time to explain how their boards were made and that I would benefit from a large volume board. I then decided to test the theory and hired the largest volume board I could find. Even though it was no where near the 340 liters of the Cruiser Pro. The difference was incredible. I returned and bought the cruiser pro for myself and the pro tofinofor my wife. I managed to stand up and paddle my second time on the water, gives fantastic stability, confidence I am now enjoying SUP something I thought I would not be able to master at all. The Seven year warranty given on both these boards tells you how much Sandbanks believe in their products, and they gave me a blue light discount. Don’t buy a Paddle board before you take a look at the Sandbanks boards.
Very easy to inflate and deflate only takes minutes. The craft is robust and very smooth on the water. Love the travel storage bag so roomy you can put lifesavers and other items in as well. Great as it also has sturdy wheels and handles well on sand. Purchased direct from Sandbanks and collected. The team are so helpful and went through all aspects of setting up the kayak which was very useful. Throughly recommend this kayak.
I have used the Explorer on a number of trips on the coast, estuaries, canals and rivers. It tracks well and glides well through the water due to the high pressure drop stitch hull, the plastic bow and stern ribs, the V shaped hull and the removable skeg. It has loads of storage space inside of the cockpit and certainly enough if you wanted to use it for kayak camping trips. It is MUCH more stable than a Story kayak which I had previously used and which was a similar shape and I've used it on some coastal and estuary paddles when it's quite quite choppy while out on the water with no problems. The quite high sides help to keep water out of the cockpit when it gets choppy.

Only one paddle in so far but seems to be well made kit with well thought out carry bag and all the accessories needed.

Have used my new paddle board every day on my holiday & regret not getting one before. Packs away so neatly into its bag, fits perfectly in the boot of the car & went through our flight as a piece of luggage.
Takes me less than 5 minutes to inflate & similar to deflate, then tools up so easily. Would highly recommend this board, having no experience of one before.
