Carbon Paddle 679g

Regular price £159.00
/
Tax included.

This 100% Carbon paddle breaks down into 3 pieces and is full adjustable to suit all sizes just like the aluminium paddle. However, because it is 100% carbon it's incredibly light and only weighs 679g!

The carbon paddle has virtually no movement or flex meaning you waste no energy while paddling. If you are looking to dramatically reduce the effort required to paddle for this is the way to do it.

It’s so Light!!!

A great paddle, when I borrowed someone else’s I had to buy one. It’s so light over an aluminium one. The response to it is great. Used for a relaxing session and race. The design flows through the water smoothly and the handle has a good position. There’s no handle rotation because of a loose collar which is great.

Light and rigid

Purchased two of these paddles to replace aluminium paddles, nice and rigid carbon fibre, neat and well executed. Great, length range works for me and son at 6ft 2 and the wife at 5ft. Excelllent upgrade at sensible money.

Excellent paddle!

Really pleased with this paddle. It is the second one we've bought as the first was an upgrade with our Sandbanks SUP. Great value, and even better when the price dropped to £100! I use it for general paddling and some sup surfing in small waves.

Great bit of kit

Great paddle and well worth the upgrade. I've used it a couple of times already and it is very sturdy and extremely light as to be expected. It has certainly improved my paddling performance and I can now keep up with my mate who has a carbon McConks paddle. My only gripe is that there is no carry bag. At this price range, I would have expected one.

Great paddle

Although I had a question over the weight - my paddle is around 710g-720g versus the hoped for 630g, it is nevertheless a really nice paddle. The fitting is tight so there is no play despite it being a 3 piece - but it is easy to dismantle and put together. The blade is solid. I am no expert in SUP paddles being more used to kayaking- but this seems like a very good value paddle - equivalent in weight or lighter to competitors Carbon paddles but far less costly. It floats (seems some SUP paddles don't which is just bizarre) - though it did take on a little bit of water after repeated submersions - but it still floated. The customer service from Sandbanks was also excellent. Definitely worth buying I would say.

Our boards in a nutshell

We have a dedicated team who take great pride in the manufacturing the very best inflatable paddleboards. This high quality craftmanship improves all aspects of the boards production and is reflected in the outstanding quality of the finished product.

1. Comfortable Grippy DeckPad

The best deck pads are machine pressed in addition to gluing.

2. PVC with Woven Inner

Outer Skin Strength is important for long life and pressure capacity.

3. Fusion Technology

An additional layer of PVC is laminated to the dropstitch core. Fusion results in a lighter, stiffer, longer lasting board, and much better for the environment too than toxic glues.

4. Super Reinforced, High Density Dropstitch

The strength/lightness ratio of the fibres, is key to creating a super rigid but light board.

5. UV Resistant

Built to withstand long-term exposure to sunlight, minimising material decay and keeping colours clear and vibrant.

6. Triple Layer On Rail

A 3rd and final layer around the rail of the board creates a second seal and ensures there are no weak points on the board.

7. Heat Treated Seal

A laminated, heat pressed inner seam on the fused PVC surrounding the core of the board creates a 100% airtight and waterproof seal. Much better and stronger than gluing.
